Caught on camera: the mining industry plot to take over the media

Australian mining billionaire Gina Rinehart last week became the largest shareholder in the Fairfax media empire, having already bought a stake in the Australian Channel Ten television network. But the real story is much bigger than just one women’s ambition as the purchases are part of a coordinated and very deliberate strategy by the mining industry to take control of the media.

The mining industry plan is revealed in the shocking video below which has been released by the Australian activist organisation Get Up!

In Papua New Guinea the loggers and the miners already have control of The National newspaper but things are about to get a whole lot worse…..

“Take over the media” my RS.
They produce 70% of the nation’s income.
    Ramu Mine Watch produces what?
Rupert Murdoch owns how much of the world’s media?
    No one complains about him.
This will merely result in a more diverse media, not a monoploy.
People can make their own minds up about what people say in the media.
    It’s still a democracy.

It’s about time someone challenged the dominant Left leaning mainstream media all over the world. People have the liberty to follow the paper and TV program they desire.
Andrew Bolt and Jo Nova have a growing following in Australia with people fed up with the Leftist ABC and Fairfax media. THey just provided a window for people waiting for a diffeent viewpoint and have a huge following.
Get Up! the Left’s cheer squad of Australian politics and media have every reason to be worried now that Andrew Bolt is taking on talk radio, blogging and TV, challenging their hold where the Left’s MSM has had a free run for decades.

    Monckton rocks!

Getup! did all they could to prevent Lord Christopher Monckton from speaking in forums around Australia last year, knowing how lethal he is when pitched against his opponents on a public forum. He rips them to shreds.

Monckton wiped the floor with GetUp!’s Dr Richard Denniss during a debate at the National Press Club in Canberra.

One comment of the day then:

“An excellent debate. Lord Monckton certainly knows what he his talking about. He backs up all his statements and commands respect. The other bloke was embarrassingly useless, waffled on about matters not relevant and harmed his own credibility.

Interesting the ABC still has yet to post the video, yet this evenings episode of “Time Team” is already available to watch. Hmmm, wonder why? Could it be Lord Monckton wiped the floor with both his opponent, and the journalists asking the questions?

My favourite parts were when Lord Monckton, wiped his feet on Jenifer Bennett (Campus Review) and the little turd of a man named Alex Hart (Seven Network). Brilliant, just Brilliant!

Make sure you watch, if you haven’t already.

Yes, the ABC and GetUp are the new opiates of the Australian massess, no content of any substance………
No doubt Tiffany and Getup and MPI are terrified of some real substance in the debate!
j kross, when and where is the debate being broadcast?

Wesely, the debate was conducted last year. It’s still available on the net. Have a look here.
