The people of PNG must be in error as they don’t mind oil and gas which are proven polluters of waters. Se bed mining is safer and less harmfull then either of the other two! Bad experience with land mines have tinted the rational thinking of the PNG people. What they should be demanding is audit of Petromin to ensure free education and proper flow of all funds to the people of PNG.
The new government should not buy this rubbish. Seabed mining is the safest form of mining environmentally. It is of no real threat to peoples lives or the environment. These poor people have been duped by the scaremongers already into believing in this nonsense.
Seabed mining is very safe in Australia, America, Europe, Asia and all over the world…I’d like to believe that.
