Photos show shocking state of Ramu pipeline

New photos from Madang Province show the shocking state of the Chinese built pipeline that transports mined ore from the Ramu mine site to the refinery at Basumuk.

The unsupported pipeline hangs across the Ramu river where the supporting pillars have been washed away:

The pipeline has been engulfed by the bush, making access for inspections or repair impossible:
